Was ok nothing special

I love their sushi at this place so much that I was a regular for a good amount of time. I would give it a five star rating but one of their servers have a really bad attitude every time I get her and it really ruins the vibe. Not only that, one time 3 of my friends and I went, and while we were waiting for our ride after we paid, we got asked to leave saying that we only have a 30 minute limit to stay after we pay and it was only us four in the restaurant. I definitely will not be going as much as I used to which is unfortunate because I really loved this place.

I'm not much of a sushi person. But having a friend that enjoys sushi quite a bit...I thought I'd try a selection from their store since he was already ordering from them. I had the Tai sushi with Red Snapper...and OMG...it was amazing!!! Like I said...I don't really dig sushi very much...but this experience has left me with an appetite for more great flavor and experiences. Prices are very reasonable for the excellent quality of food. And it is all fresh products made to order right in front of you!!! If you enjoy sushi...it is definitely worth the time to stop in and grab a bite!!!

Yes, there is great sushi in Yuma. Go with a couple friend so you can share and experience more of the great rolls. It's buy one, get one free and worth it.

The sashimi was so fresh I almost couldn't believe how far inland this place actually is. The price was very reasonable for what you get.

Good sushi, especially the California roll. Only down fall was the customer's service. Not very attentive, their attitude was not welcoming.

Food is very good and they have fair pricing. I was disappointed today though because they did not asked me to leave a tip but rather forced to leave the 10%. The waitress told me they are charging anyone who drives to them now to pick up an order (and spends time and gas) an extra 10% to cover their tip costs. I tolerated the extra charge only this one time and would much rather be told about it in advance because it seems very sneaky and dishonest not to tell customers openly upfront about this charge. The tips should be handled separately between owner and employees more prudently without involving customers. The owner should rather raise up the prices on food items instead across the whole menu and leave customers out of forcing them to pay tips to their wiatresses. PS There buy one take one sushi role of equal price is still the best in town.😁✌️

This is hands down one of my favorite places to eat in Yuma and I frequent it often. Love everything about Tomo. Sometimes the service can be underwhelming but the food served is always top Quality. Which is why I come back. It's a sushi place in the desert so it can't be compared to places next to the ocean but the fish is fresh. BYOB and a great atmosphere.

We were really sad to hear Tomo burned down in the foothills, super happy they've reopened even closer in Yuma! On our first visit back the regular kitchen wasn't open but all 4 rolls we ordered were delicious!

Really tasty and fresh sushi! The spicy ramen was delicious as well. Staff is friendly and one of the chefs even gave us a free dessert. Victoria our server was very attentive and quick. The ambiance is really mellow and chill. You can even bring your own beer, wine or liquor!! That's a first! I definitely recommend it.

I came here because of the name and the reviews on yelp. There is a Tomo Japanese Restaurant on the west side of Phoenix that is one of my favorites. This place did not disappoint. I came in and Victoria made me feel like I was at home. I sat close to the sushi bar and was greeted by Chef Don who is the owner. I looked at the menu and struck a conversation with the chef. I told him I liked tuna and asked if he could make me a chef's special. He made the best tuna roll I have ever had. It was perfect. The large amount of tuna with the perfect amount of spice and flavor. The best part was sweating to see the bill and was pleasantly surprised. I will definitely be eating here again.

I've tried the chicken katsu, California Roll, Tiger Roll, Rainbow Roll and Caterpillar Roll. I have also tried the miso soup. Everything was very good. A little pricey but you get allot and the buy one, get one deal is pretty good. My only critique would be the soup. It seemed kind of lacking. Some wakame and tofu would bring it to life. They also don't have iced tea.

Good place for Sushi they have a good variety of sushi and other foods here. I have tried a few, some I like more than others, I don't recall the exact names as I have been switching it up. The place is clean and staff is attentive, the atmosphere is chill.

Love me some Tomo Sushi! Always fresh. Excellent service and I am not a salmon fan so I love that they will give me extra tuna instead. Good dining in or to go. So many excellent options. The peanut butter roll is unique and tastey, too.

Sushi rolls were good😊, but ramen was totally different from the ones I have tried in Japan (yeah original Japanese ramen)

I’m not too big on sushi but my wife loves it and wanted to try this place out. We ordered take out. We ordered a Spicy California roll (Classic but still super good), Lemon Fresh roll (extremely delicious!), and a Smile roll. Everything tasted fresh as hell and the Smile Roll didn’t taste greasy compared to most of Blue Fin’s deep fried rolls! Can’t wait to go back honestly!

This place is excellent in service and the food is GREAT! We ate 5 different rolls and chicken for my kids. Even my daughter that is not a good eater wants sushi now. THANK YOU!!!! GREAT FOOD, GREAT SERVICE AND IS CLEAN.

Nice little spot for some delicious, reasonably priced sushi. I had the Mango Go Go Roll, California Hand Roll, and the King Kong Roll. They were all so good. Our waitress was really nice and attentive. The guy rolling sushi was so nice to everyone. He said thank you and goodbye to everyone leaving. I definitely recommend them.

Tasty little Sushi bar with BOGO Rolls until 7pm in a strip mall on Ave B. Love it and Love it some more. Buy 1 Get 1 Rolls are awesome and My favorite is the spring rolls. (Kind of Keto friendly- no rice!)

Sushi chef who could do well in San Francisco. Plenty of parking. Need I say more.

The owner discriminates his workers and doesn’t follow food safety standards, rolls are premade and left out in room temp for hours to ensure speedy service as well as other foods and sauces. The wasabi is reused for days and often gets crusty, brown, and watery. Shrimp tempura is left out in a bowl in the front, not cooked to order for the rolls. The fish display fridge is often too warm and rolls are left out for long periods of time which is unsafe.

FRESH AND DELICIOUS fast service

Thus place will give all the higher end sushi places in yuma a run for their money. The prices are reasonable with daily specials and the portions are generous. Very high quality sushi. So happy they re opened after the fire in the foothills. I hope they are able to get into a fancier place and become a yuma staple.

Ate here for the first time today and had a great experience. They have a buy a roll get a roll free deal that is worth trying.
